Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Investeren ("investeren.org") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) when you visit our website, and how you can control them.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to collect information about how a site is used. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are "first-party"; cookies set by other domains (for example, advertising networks) are "third-party" and can be used for cross-site tracking.
2. The Categories We Use
We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories. Essential cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them. Analytics and Advertising cookies are only set after you opt in via our cookie consent banner, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
Essential cookies (always active)
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Authentication session | Session | Supabase |
| sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | OAuth PKCE verification | Session | Supabase |
| theme | Remembers your dark/light mode | 1 year | Investeren |
| cookie-consent | Stores your cookie choices | Persistent | Investeren |
Analytics cookies (opt-in)
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| _clck / _clsk | Session replay and heatmap analytics | Microsoft Clarity |
Analytics cookies are only set after you accept the Analytics category. Microsoft Clarity records how the site is used (clicks, scrolls, session replays) so we can improve it. Clarity is provided by Microsoft and may transfer data outside the EU (see our Privacy Policy for transfer safeguards). If you decline, no analytics data is collected.
Advertising cookies (opt-in)
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| __gads / __gpi / IDE / others | Ad delivery, frequency capping, and ad measurement | Google AdSense |
We display advertising through Google AdSense. When you accept the Advertising category, Google and its partners may set third-party cookies and similar identifiers that involve cross-site tracking in order to deliver and measure ads, and to limit how often you see the same ad. These cookies are set by Google as a third party; the AdSense script is not loaded at all until you opt in. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set and the AdSense script does not load.
3. Managing or Withdrawing Your Consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — withdrawing is as easy as giving it. Use the button below to re-open your cookie preferences:
You can also control cookies through your browser settings, which let you view, block, or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the platform.
4. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage on your device for:
- Theme preference (dark/light mode)
- Sidebar collapse state
- Currency preference (EUR/USD)
- Your cookie consent choices
This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
6. Contact
